History

We whished by the following lines to keep in mind all those who have once sung or played with STOUT.

"...Everything started a bit before year 2000 between 4 friends who used to jam together after the class : Dominique, Steve, Joël and Jean-Luc.

They quickly realized that all of them were in love with Celtic music and decide to go down that good old Irish way. After some time, in order to reinforce the Celtic touch of their music, Steve comes back from Brittany with a bag-pipe... Yeahh! They are now only missing a real drummer, as " Jim " the beat-box is not able to share their crazy moments.

They found François, certainly one of the most " extreme " guy in the area, and of course an incredible drummer ;o)...

Few time later, they try to find a fiddler to complete their Celtic line-up, but didn't have a lot of success... it's only one year later that the beautiful Helen arrives in the band! Finally a girl in the band!!! After some years of more and more festive music, Dominique has to move and decides to leave the band... they have to find another guitar player, and the incredible Angela show up with her legendary smile and good mood!. Puis c’est au tour d’Aurélien, Almost in the same time, Touly enter the band with his voice and his incredible number of different instruments.

The band now becomes really strong and start to play a lot around, forging themselves a good stage experience.One day, François decides to build his family and, in spite of the insistence of everyone, has to leave the band. STOUT now need to find another drummer, which is done with Kevin, a young and crazy long haired guy, always bringing good jokes ;o) One year later, Helen leave the band...

she's replaced by Adrienne who gives a new motivation to the band, especially to Jean-Luc ;o) Some months later, an old rocker named Christian enters the band to show us the way of wisdom. The following year, Steve and Touly decide to split to go in another musical way. This is the opportunity for the band to welcome the incredible Myriam who replaces both with her breathtaking voice and energy!

Some month later, Claire, a fringing girl from Brittany arrives to show us the way of her motherland's music. The band is now complete again with a internal feeling better than it never was! New songs and many concerts are then providing an unforgettable experience to all of us.

Lastly, Angela decided to stop playing in the band to concentrate herself on her other hobbies. By chance, one of these hobbies is to take pictures. She's then immediately hired as the official band photographer. Fabrice arrives quite quickly and the replacement process can be properly done with the great help of Angela who continues to help him when it's necessary.

In that way, the incredible friendliness which drives the band is safe and even stronger day after day, fro the greatest pleasure of the members!

Last event in date : Kevin left us to devote himself to his Viking Metal band : Depth Melody. François, more crazy than ever, takes the sticks back to launch us again along his frantic rythms.
